C/2007W1 Boattini near Hamal (alpha Ari) from Puimichel in the South of France. SQM reading 21.3 so it was a reasonable night...
7 exposures of 7 minutes each (and in between 4 minute rest periods to let the camera cool down) between 1:21UT en 2:34UT on September 2, 2008
with the ASA Astrograph and a modified Canon 40D @ 800ISO. The 10Micron mount was tracking on the orbital elements of the comet and it did so very well!

2007 W1 Boattini, 15 x 2 minutes at 1600 ISO with a modified Canon 40D and a 20cm F2,75 ASA Astrograph. Images acquired August 23, 2008 between 22:58 UT and
23:32 UT. The sub exposures were unguided, using the 10Micron GM2000-QCI mount in "Follow Object" mode. The last quarter moon was above the horizon,
but despite that I still measured a sky brightness of 20.2 magmitude/squre arcsecond at the zenith with the SQM. This comet was about 20 degrees from the Moon!
