10 exposures of 3 minutes each @1600 ISO between 18:03 and 18:36 UT on October 22, 2008 from Beilen. SQM reading 20.2 mag./sq. arcsec.
20cm ASA Astrographa and a modified Canon 40D. The 10Micron GM2000 mount was tracking the comet automatically. 100% crop from full image.
During the full moon of August 15, 2008 from Beilen. I tried to image this comet and the result surprised me! 21 images with 2 minute exposure time were acquired
between 20:50 and 21:42 UT. The 10Micron GM2000 mount tracked the comet automatically via orbital elements in the drive controller. This works great!
Preprocessing, aligning and stacking were done with ImagesPlus
This is a 100% pixel size crop from the ful image. The image was made with an ASA N8 20cm f2.75 astrograph and a modified Canon 40D @ 1600 ISO.
