This carbon tube Newtonian Astrograph was first used on June 9th 2011, "first light" image was M51 with supernova 2011dn, 30 x 30 seconds with a QSI583 in 2x2 binning.
No autoguiding yet and the telescope was not adjusted properly. The image below from June 10, 2011 is a crop at 100%. The full image has bad vignetting due
to the bright sky during the "grey nights" we have here in summer. The supernova is the brighetst star in the lower spiral arm.
